The aim of this curriculum is to allow a student to matriculate through the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for three years and then proceed into the College of Veterinary Medicine under their early admissions policy. Successful completion of the courses taken during the first year in Veterinary Medicine will satisfy the Department's requirements for technical electives and allow the University to grant the student a B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology after this period.
This program is designed for students who are interested in a career in veterinary research. They will have a strong background in basic chemistry and biochemistry.
