The SCSC is located on Montague Blvd. across the street from 
Pinehaven Student Apartments and is on the corner of Montague
and 34th Avenue. There is also a big SCSC sign out in the
front yard.

A good time to fellowship with other Christians
and get away from the pressures of school.

DEVOTIONALS

Fall and Spring Semesters: 
We don't have any set day or time that we always have
them; we set the day and time at the beginning
of each semester to acommodate as many people
as possible. Call the SCSC for details.

Summer semester:
Due to the great fluctuation in the number of people
that are in town at any given time, we don't have
devotionals during the summer on a regular basis.

STUDENT SUPPERS
(Fall and Spring Semesters)

These normally fall on the second and fourth Sunday
nights of the month. Student suppers are held at the
SCSC after evening services and are a good opportunity
to fellowship with other college students and members
of the local congregation and to enjoy some good cooking
done by several of the families in the congregation.

ADOPT-A-STUDENT SUPPERS
(Fall and Spring Semesters)

These normally fall on the third Sunday night of the
month. At the beginning of the Fall Semester, those
students who want to are paired up with "adopted parents"
who are familes from the local congregation who help
make the student feel welcomed and at home while in
Hattiesburg. This activity allows students and their
adopted families to eat together and get to know each
other better.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
tailgating at USM home football games, attending USM home
basketball and baseball games, service activities, and
retreats...

The SCSC has a ping-pong table, pool table,
TV, and VCR for students use. It has also recently
added new living room furniture and 486 computer
with Windows, WP 6.0 Win, PFS Works, and access to
the USM Computer Network.

The SCSC is open during the day to anybody who
needs a quiet place to study or just to relax
between classes.
