 A graduate of the Philippine Naval Academy, Vice Admiral Eduardo Santos went on to command 4 navy ships. In 1993, he was selected to be Chief of Naval Intelligence; and in 1994, he became Chief of Naval Staff. Santos served as Flag Officer in Command from 1996 until his retirement in 1999. Today, Santos serves as President of the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific.
