At Noxubee NWR, we are attempting to better understand what influences population dynamics of two species of birds that are considered Priority Species by Parterns in Flight, the Prothonotary Warbler and Acadian Flycatcher. For the Acadian Flycatcher, we are examining the impact of Green-tree Reserviors on their reproductive biology (e.g. territory and nest-site selection, reproductive success).  This project was started by Mike Husak and has been continued and expanded upon by graduate student Sarah Gibbs.
