Curriculum vitae

Developing a program on specialty crops and value-added products in Mississippi. Our group is evaluating medicinal and aromatic crops (MAC) as new cash crops for the region. We are also developing cropping systems with oilseed crops for bioenergy/biodiesel production. The overall goal of our program is to increase profitability of cropping systems in Mississippi and Southern U.S. In addition, current work involves the development of environmentally benign cropping procedures to improve economic and environmental sustainability for agricultural producers through management of phosphorus (P) and lead (Pb) in P and Pb-enriched soils.
