The Humanities and Arts Research Program (HARP), sponsored by the Institute for the Humanities and the College of Arts & Sciences, and funded by the Office of Research, supports research projects in the Humanities by offering grants of up to $5,000. on a competitive basis to full-time faculty in the Humanities. Faculty may apply for HARP grants by going to the Insitute for the Humanities web page and downloading the guidelines and an application.

   HARP grants of $5,000. carry the title HARP Senior Research Fellow, and grants up to $4,000. carry the title HARP Research Fellow. Senior Research Fellows are required to host a panel discussion on a Humanities topic of their choice during the award year. All panels are open to the public and sponsored by the Institute for the Humanities.
