Exploding Star Eta Carinae

The Howell Observatory is located on the university's south farm.

The observatory is open often for public viewing and for large groups special dates can be arranged by contacting Professor Pat Lestrade (Lestrade@ra.msstate.edu) at the physics and astronomy department.
