Here are some pictures taken at Mississippi State's Howell Observatory. The observatory is located on South Farm. Maps are available in the Physics and Astronomy office and Online. Public sessions are held often and other observing sessions for large parties can be arranged with the dept., or by contacting Patrick Lestrade (lestrade@ra.msstate.edu). Here is a shot of the entire observatory:
We have a 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain in the dome.
There is an 8" Schmidt-Cassegrain in the western house (left), and a 10" Newtonian reflector in the eastern house (right).
Come out and visit!
