Doug Goodman specializes in public administration, and has completed a dissertation on Executive-Legislative power struggles over budgeting in the western states. He holds a PhD and an MS from the University of Utah, and a BA from Brigham Young University. Professor Goodman has published in Public Administration Review, co-edited a book on the public debate over land use, and presented convention papers on public policy issues. Professor Goodman teaches government organization and human resources classes in our MPPA and Doctoral programs, as well as Introduction to Public Policy and American Government at the undergraduate levels.
