Extension programs and the MSU Animal and Dairy Sciences Department are making a difference for Mississippi livestock producers, equine enthusiasts, and youth. From the Mississippi Beef Cattle Improvement Association program to livestock 4H programs, Extension provides the latest research-based information for improved production management and industry and youth education.
Extension livestock and equine programs in Mississippi are very active with numerous educational offerings and formats each year covering beef cattle, dairy cattle, equine, small ruminant, and swine topics. These programs also offer Mississippi youth a wide variety of experiences and leadership opportunities.
