- S. HOMES HOGUE -
Biological Anthropologist
Research specialities include bioarchaeology and zooarchaeology. In
bioarchaeology I am primarily interested in the effects of European
contact on aboriginal populations in the Southeastern United States. Other
interests include diet, biomechanical stress on the human skeletal, and
paleopathology. Much of my research in zooarchaeology has included
historic faunal collections but I am mainly interested in prehistoric and
protohistoric aboriginal diets.
