STUDENT AFFAIRS OP 91.176: Administrative Fee for International Students
Date: January 28, 1992
Purpose
To require an administrative fee for international students (defined as non-resident aliens) enrolled at Mississippi State University, but excluding Cooperative Education students enrolled for no academic credit.
Policy
It is the policy of Mississippi State University that international students as defined above, but excluding Cooperative Education students enrolled for no academic credit, be assessed a mandatory administrative fee for services offered by the Office of Admissions and Scholarships.
Procedure
All international students enrolled at Mississippi State University, except for Cooperative Education students enrolled for no academic credit, are required to pay an administrative fee of $100.00 each term (Fall, Spring, and Summer) of enrollment. This fee will be assessed with tuition and other applicable student fees and will be used by the Office of Admissions and Scholarships to provide immigration and orientation services.
Review
The Vice President for Student Affairs is responsible for the review of this operating policy every four years or as needed.
