Library Holdings

The Mitchell Memorial Library is adjacent to the Hand Chemical Laboratory. The MSU library system maintains a collection of more than 2,000,000 volumes and contains 57,007 journal/serial titles as either paid subscriptions, gifts or state/federal government documents. (This total includes print and electronic journal subscriptions).

Other Facilities

The Mississippi Research and Technology Park is being built on a 218-acre tract of land which adjoins the campus on the northern edge. Current tenants include a National Science Foundation supported Engineering Research Center (ERC), the Department of Energy supported Institute for Clean Energy Technology, and a business "incubator" program for emerging "high-tech" companies.
