Mr. Charles T. Shorter earned a Bachelors of Science degree in 1971 from the University of Southern Mississippi with a major in History Education. Upon graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant. During his 20+ year career in both ground and flight assignments, he earned a Master of Science degree from Central Missouri State University with a major in Safety Management. He retired as a Captain from the Air Force in April 1991 with over 20 years active duty serving in various assignments worldwide. He was employed as a safety consultant with the State of Mississippi in July 1991 and promoted to senior safety consultant in October 1994. As a field consultant, Mr. Shorter is engaged in site surveys at various types of manufacturing and health related facilities. Email: cshorter@csh.msstate.edu |
