Kelly Marsh, Associate Professor, joined the department in 1998. Her B.A. in English is from Dartmouth College, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English are from Penn State University. She specializes in contemporary literature, especially British and Irish. Her current book project is on contemporary sensation novels and their relationship to Victorian novels of that genre (her article on the subject is in Philological Quarterly). She has also written articles on the novels of contemporary writers Mary McCarthy (Studies in the Novel), Roddy Doyle (Critique), and Helen Fielding (College Literature). Her most recent articles are on Charlotte Brontë's Jane Eyre (forthcoming in South Atlantic Review) and the film Legally Blonde (forthcoming in Literature/Film Quarterly). | |||
