Dr. Jack Jordan


Jack Jordan
holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt, M.A. from George Washington University , and a Ph.D. from University of Virginia . His areas of specialization include literature, philosophy, and francophone culture. His research focuses on Proust and Chamoiseau. Dr. Jordan has published a book, articles, and a chapter in the Cambridge Companion to Proust on Marcel Proust's A la recherche du temps perdu as well as articles on Francophone literature of the Caribbean and Africa .
He was chosen the Mississippi State University 2005 Humanities Teacher of the Year. He is the HARP Senior Research Fellow 2006-07.
