The Estuarine Habitats and Coastal Fisheries
Center is a U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service federal facility located
in the University Research Park.
The mission of the National Marine Fisheries Service is to provide a data base needed for management and restoration of fisheries and coastal habitat in the Northern Gulf of Mexico.
The Research Center has created a little
estuarian pond as seen below.
