Tabasco Plant Tour

The TABASCO pepper sauce is made in a factory located on Avery Island.  There is a short film on the history of the pepper sauce and a guided tour of the bottling and packaging operations.  What makes this sauce so unique is how it is aged in white oak barrels and covered with salt that was processed from the mines.  Below is a picture of the outside of the factory.
