Vermilionville

Vermilionville is located on the banks of the Vermilion River.  It portrays a way of life preserved with a distinctly French accent of the Acadian settlers of the 18th century.  Vermilionville is situated on 23 acres showcasing carefully crafted period homes that reflect historic Acadian/Creole life.  Costumed craftspeople, interpreters and living historians are visible throughout the park,  providing demonstrations of arts and skills that have been preserved and handed down from previous generations.
