At the bone quarry many dinosaur bones are visible due to the dark brown color and smooth texture. The bones here include ribs, limbs and possible vertebrae, pelvic bones and skull fragments. The bones are scattered apart rather then linked together, indicating that the bones were most likely transported to this site by moving water. Dinosaurs that are found in this area include Stegosaurus, Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus), Diplodocus and Allosaurus. The white bones in this photo are cow bones used as examples.
