Here is proof that the Brontosaur existed in this area. As you look along these sedimentary layers of rocks, one can not miss the indentations that are found trusting out from the top layers. These indentations, up to 3 feet wide and a foot deep, are believe to have been made by the mighty Brontosaurus. The weight of these massive creatures, when walking on soft ground, allowed their feet to sink, distorting the layers below. The holes were filled in as more sediment was deposited. As this formation eroded, these bulges were exposed giving us a clue about who or what passed this way.
