You are about to embark on a Virtual Field Trip throughout the city of Memphis, Tennessee and the mid south area. This trip is intended to introduce you to Memphis with emphasis on the Earth Sciences. We will be visiting areas of interest to students and adults, but the actual "science" is geared toward high school and adult learners. The ideal time for most of the activities for this trip is spring or fall when the weather is mild in Memphis, although most activities could be done just about any time of the year.
 

There are two choices of trips. One trip is a single day trip. We will stay in Memphis and see several institutions which provide services to Memphis or conduct research in the Earth Sciences. A second trip is a week long trip. In addition to the Memphis trip, we will travel outside of Memphis to other areas in Tennessee as well as areas in nearby Mississippi, Arkansas and Missouri. We will visit several sites of interest at these locations.
