SOUVENIR GLASS COLLECTION
Members of the Department of Geosciences travel worldwide doing research and attending important scientific conferences and meetings. In 1999 newly arrived professors Leo Lynch, Mike Brown, and Taylor Mack began a collection of souvenir glasses documenting their journeys (the original triumvirate is shown above). Soon thereafter their students and other colleagues began contributing to the growing assemblage. The collection now numbers over 250 glasses from most of the states and 9 foreign countries.
