Jinmu Choi is a geographer who is interested in GIScience including GIS, RS, and Cartography. My recent interest in GIS is spatial database, temporal topology and 3D representation of geographic features. These topics are based on a feature data model that was a topic of my dissertation research. Spatial modeling is one of topics that all GIScientist should have. In RS, texture-based segmentation and classification are the current issue that I’m interested in. Higher spatial resolution may need more sophisticated classification methods to remove noise that is out of interests. In Cartography, multi-scale mapping is an interesting topic that is not studied much in the area.
