Dr. Kathy Sherman-Morris

Kathy returned to Mississippi State in January, 2003 after completing her PhD coursework in geography at Florida State University. Her research interests include weather hazards, mass media and distance learning. At MSU, she combines all of these as a distance learning and broadcast meteorology instructor.

Outside of work, Kathy enjoys cooking, gardening and travel. She also enjoys spending time with her husband John, and dogs Mopey and Charlie. She originally is from Easton, Pennsylvania in the beautiful Lehigh Valley.
