      August 13-14.............Domestic Teaching Assistant Workshop
      August 15................New Graduate Student Orientation
      August 16,17.............Final registration and payment of tuition and fees
      August 20................Classes begin
      August 20-October 12.....Apply online for December 2007 graduation - $50 fee applies
      August 24................Last day to drop a course without a grade (5th class day - 12:00 PM)
      August 27................Last day for registration or to add a course (6th class day - 12:00 PM)
      September 1..............Last day for international applicants to complete admission process for spring semester
      September 3..............Holiday
      October 1-2..............Fall Break (Monday & Tuesday)
      October 3................Last day to drop a class with a "W" grade
      October 8-15.............Report midterm progress grades
      October 10...............Mid-point of semester
      October 12...............Last day to apply for a degree via OnCampus (12:00 PM)- $50 fee applies
      October 12...............Last day to apply for advanced standing examination
      October 13-November 14...Apply in person at Registrar's Office for December 2007 Graduation - $100 fee applies
      October 23-31............Faculty advising for pre-registration
      November 1...............Last day for domestic applicants to complete admission process for spring semester 
      November 1...............Last day for doctoral comprehensive/preliminary examination for May graduation

      November 1-9.............Primary preregistration period for spring semester
      November 2...............Last day for thesis/dissertation defense and non-thesis comprehensive examination for December Graduation
      November 9...............Last day for first submission of thesis/dissertation to the Library
      November 9...............Last day for submitting signed examination results to the Office of the Graduate School
      November 13..............Last day to withdraw from University (ten days of classes remaining)
      November 15-December 11..Apply in person at Registrar's Office for December 2007 Graduation - $250 fee applies

      November 21..............Thanksgiving holiday (Wednesday through Sunday)
      November 26..............Classes resume
      November 26..............Last day to apply for graduation and have name appear in program book
