Applied Mathematics and Differential Equations

This is the largest research group in the department with a wide range
of research interests. Particular emphasis is on Nonlinear Partial
Differential Equations, Control Theory, Delay Differential and
Difference Equations, Computational Mathematics and Mathematical
Modeling, and their applications in reaction diffusion processes,
population dynamics, image processing, dynamical systems, wavelets,
inverse problems, head conduction in semiconductors, solid mechanics,
and wave propagation.
