Undergrads Discuss Women's Leadership Institute

Message from Dr. Hannah Britton:

The Fall 2004 Gender Studies Lecture Series is listed below. While I hope you can attend many of them, I want to draw your attention to one in particular. Wednesday, Oct. 13, two of our majors will be on a panel entitled "Connecting with Women in the South and Beyond." Clare Bass and Lindsay Buffum are speaking about their experiences at the Women's Leadership Institute held at Auburn last spring. They were the MSU representatives at the Institute and have strongly encouraged us to continue to send students to the program. Susan Hall from the MSU Library and Women's Studies is also a panelist and will be talking about the NWSA meeting this summer. I would appreciate you announcing all the lectures in your classes as well.

Each of the lectures is at noon in the Women's Resource Center in Rice Hall. We have moved to a luncheon format, so please RSVP if you are coming for lunch. You can always walk-in, but then you should bring your own lunch.
