WOMEN'S HEALTH SCHOLAR, DR. SERED, VISITS MSU

Dr. Susan Sered from Suffolk University will lecture Wednesday, February 16 from 3-4 in the Library Media Room. The title of her talk is: "Uninsured: Life and Death in the Land of Opportunity." It is based on her forthcoming book Uninsured in America: Life and Death in the Land of Opportunity.

Her lecture will be followed by a reception in 170 Bowen.

Dr. Sered is a Senior Research Associate in the Center for Women’s Health and Human Rights at Suffolk University. Her website provides her research interests and numerous publications.

Dr. Sered's visit is cosponsored by the Departments of Philosophy and Religion, Political Science and Public Administration, Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work, as well as the Social Science Research Center and the Women's Studies Program.
