Undergrads Inducted into Society of Scholars; Alumnus Wins Award

Congratulations to three of our undergraduate political science majors, who were inducted into MSU's highest academic honorary, the Society of Scholars in the Arts and Sciences. The three students and their faculty mentors, who introduced them at the ceremony in April 2004 were:

Congratulations are also extended to one of our BA alumni, Parker Wiseman, who is now studying at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is the recipient of The Albert and Gladys Hall Coates Award for the year 2004. This annual award, presented by the university Chancellor, honors a "member of the Student Congress whose service through the Student Congress is judged most outstanding on criteria of statesmanship, commitment and constructive involvement in issues affecting the quality of the University community."
