Michelle Barlow, at center in the above picture, was one of our Stennis Scholars. She is an Executive Assistant to Mississippi 1st district Congressman Roger Wicker. Michelle is a loyal alumnus of our department, and if you are ever in Washington or wish help with some federal matter, give her a call.
Donna Simmons, pictured above, has achieved a national reputation for the campaign consultant organization that she operates. Donna is currently heading the gubernatorial campaign of a prominent statewide elected official. She is also a loyal alumnus of MSU, and is quite willing to help any of our students who are interested in a job or career in campaign management.
A 1966 alumnus of our undergraduate program is Mr. W.J. Darden, who served in Vietnam and has risen to the high rank of Major General. He was honored by the MSU ROTC as their alumnus of the year in 1998. The above picture shows him talking with our Dean, Skip Saal. We hope that more of our early graduates contact us so that we can keep in touch with them and tell our students about their accomplishments.
