    Notes:
  1. Use a fractional H.P. starter to control fans No. 1 and No. 2.
  2. Typical air flow pattern for air movement through pens. Follow recommended air flow rates based on age of birds and outside temperature.
  3. Door can either be purchased or farm fabricated. It must be well fitted and near airtight. This is necessary for the ventilation system to operate properly.
  4. Using two 15,000 or 20,000 BTU size pancake-style or radiant-style brooders instead of one 32,000 BTU size brooder affords safety against a single brooder going out and leaving the birds with no heat in the pen.
