Largest Ag Commodity
The 1998 Agricultural Production Value data indicate that
poultry production was the top agricultural commodity group in
Mississippi. Following is a list of the major commodities and the values of production during 1998.
The gross farm value of poultry products increased seven percent over last
year's record-breaking year.
