Bobwhite Quail
Brooder House Plan

Notes:
- Use a fractional H.P. starter to control fans No. 1 and No. 2.
- Typical air flow pattern for air movement through pens. Follow recommended air flow rates based on age of birds and outside temperature.
- Door can either be purchased or farm fabricated. It must be well fitted and near airtight. This is necessary for the ventilation system to operate properly.
- Using two 15,000 or 20,000 BTU size pancake-style or radiant-style brooders instead of one 32,000 BTU size brooder affords safety against a single brooder going out and leaving the birds with no heat in the pen.
