Volunteer opportunities with the office of Student Support Services include:Notetaking Opportunites
•In Class Notetaker
In Class Notetaker volunteer in a classroom for students who need this accommodation.
•Out-of-Class Notetaker
Vounteer out-of-class notetakers assist students with notetaking from the textbook.Office Related Opportunities
•General Clerical
Volunteers in the general clerical position perform tasks such as answering the phones, typing and filing.•Writing/Reading
Volunteers who write or read for students are needed during scheduled exams. Volunteers are also
needed to record books on tape.Tutoring
Volunteers are always needed to tutor in a wide array of subject areas. Tutoring is usually conducted in
the office, but may be done in another location as long as it is convenient for the student who is
