The Department of Instructional Systems, Leadership, and Workforce Development prepares individuals at the undergraduate and graduate levels to perform in a variety of professional settings, including K-12 schools, community colleges, and in a variety of industry and business settings. The department offers three undergraduate degrees: Information Technology Services, Industrial Technology and Technology Teacher Education. At the graduate level, the department offers masters, specialist, and doctoral degrees. Graduate program areas include: Community College Leadership, Educational Leadership and Administration, Instructional Technology, Technology, and Workforce Development.

NCATE Accreditation
The department within the College of Education is accredited by the National Council on Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. Selected program areas are aligned with the standards of the appropriate scholarly professional associations.
