The Department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development prepares students with marketable technology skills at the undergraduate and graduate levels to perform in a variety of professional settings, including K-12 schools, higher education, and an array of industry and business environments. The Department of Instructional Systems & Workforce Development offers
both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Students can earn undergraduate degrees in Information Technology Services, Industrial Technology, and Technology Teacher Education, as well as a Masters and Specialist degrees in Technology, and a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems and Workforce Development.
The Department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development within the College of Education is accredited by the National Council on Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education. Selected program areas are aligned with the standards of the appropriate scholarly professional associations.
