_ The primary reason that the Television Center stands out as an innovative, comprehensive service unit of MSU is its staff, whose assembly is a direct result of a sincere dedication to maintaining creativity in problem solving and task fulfillment. Each staff member, as a committed, highly trained professional, enhances the unique blend of talent and creativity that permeates the Television Center production team. 
 
Mike Godwin - Director
  Mike has overseen the maintenance and repair of UTC equipment for over four years. He is in charge of operations and production support, technical facilities planning, and support of WMSV-FM Radio, and also oversees the maintenance and repair of outside facilities, and time permitting, consults for other campus departments. 
Ralph Olivieri - Production & Faclities Coordinator
  Ralph is responsible for daily operations at the Television Center. He schedules the use of all broadcast equipment including all field/studio/editing facilities, and he assigns all productions to TV Center staff & student workers. Ralph also performs work as a senior producer/director to various university programming as well as videotape editor for most MSU Sports programs. He currently serves as director of FARMWEEK, a weekly 30-minute program aired statewide on the Mississippi Educational Television network. He has worked on numerous video productions for outside clients and has taught TV production to high school students. 

Bennie Ashford - Sports Television Coordinator
  Bennie provides leadership and responsibility for the development, planning, and production of broadcast quality sports programs for the university. He serves as producer for MSU's football, basketball, and baseball coaches shows, as well as supervisor for the Athletic Department's Sports Video division. 
Belinda Betts - Accounting Assistant
  Belinda assists the Directors of the University Television Center and WMSV-FM Radio Station in accounting and bookkeeping policies and procedures, which includes purchasing and balancing six budget accounts.
Steve Carver - Associate Producer 
  Steve is responsible for keeping the Television Center stocked with the various formats of videotape needed for productions. He has served as editor, director, technical director, camera operator, tape operator, and electronic still store operator for many of our productions, and is also responsible for the duplication system where we make copies available to the public of the various productions we produce. 
Lewis Halbert - Video Producer / MSTV Manager
  As a video producer for the TV Center, Lewis works many production roles on a variety of MSU broadcasts. Primarily, his main duty is to coordinate all elements necessary to produce high quality video productions. He is also responsible for MSU's cable channel and producing several programs which air on MSTV. 
Barry Hughes - Engineer
  Barry performs maintenance duties for the TV Center and the campus radio station, WMSV-FM. He also works with field productions and assists with many TV Center productions. Barry acts as a backup operator / driver for the television center's KU band uplink truck and operates the fixed uplink located at the TV Center.
Super Sara
Sara McTaggart - Graphics Producer
 
As our newest addition to our staff Sara brings fresh new looks and designs to our productions. We really look farword to the great ideas that she can bring to the table.
Scott Lewis - RF Engineer
  As the lead RF engineer for the Television Center, Scott travels with the transportable uplink truck and serves as RF and Production Engineer for field productions. Through the years, Scott has developed a reputation as a 'can do' individual who can make the exceptionally difficult seem easy. He has provided national network news feeds under very adverse weather conditions, national uplinks for PBS and other educational networks, and sports feeds for most national networks. 
Marc Rolph - Video Producer / Director
  After a successful career in commercial television, Marc performs work as a producer of TV production work for the Television Center. He is responsible for all aspects of a program including scripting, videotaping, editing and special video design. He also directs a crew of professional broadcasters as well as a student crew when needed. Works with all campus units of the TV Center and/or outside clientele too.
Andy Sims - Digital Media System Administrator
  Ensuring that the equipment needs of each and every production are met, Andy is the "engineer-in-charge" for all video productions at the Television Center. He is responsible for the maintenance of all video, audio, and computer equipment that is on University Television Center inventory records, including all software upgrades, hardware issues, and training for the repair and upkeep of the equipment. He also monitors the video and audio quality performance.
