"Establishing Effective Working Relationships Between Faculty and Students in the Laboratory"

February 18, 2016
3:00 pm to 4:30 pm

About this event

It is essential that faculty and graduate and undergraduate students understand their roles, responsibilities and expectations while functioning in a research laboratory. Whether you are new to the research laboratory or well established, it is important to think about faculty-student interactions for optimal research progress and student training. Jan Chambers, professor in the Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine's Department of Basic Sciences and director of the Center for Environmental Health Sciences, will discuss the types of issues and questions that can arise and how best to ensure good working relationships. This session also will count for RCR training credit. Click the "Link" below to register. You must have an MSU ID to register online.
