"Salvaged Splendor" Exhibit Reception

Join the Mississippi State College of Architecture, Art and Design's art department for a reception celebrating the opening of its "Salvaged Splendor" exhibit! Free to all through March 10 in the Colvard Student Union Art Gallery, the collection of university student art features creations made with salvaged objects from old homes and buildings. Participating artists include members of such campus groups as the ACCESS program, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Music Maker Productions and Student Association. All exhibition works may be purchased, with proceeds going to the Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity’s Maroon Edition House program. Refreshments will be provided. Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday-Friday, as well as by appointment. In addition to the MSU College of Architecture, Art and Design’s art department, the exhibit is made possible by the Center for Student Activities and Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity. Additional support comes from the MSU Maroon Edition Committee.
