Maroon Edition 'Overcomer' Video Contest

Like Ashley Rhodes-Courter, international bestselling author of Mississippi State's 2016 Maroon Edition book "Three Little Words,” MSU students have faced painful hardships in life. In celebration of being overcomers, we want you to share your story in a 1 to 2 1/2 minute video. In describing a challenge you have experienced in your life and how you prevailed against the odds, we encourage you to be creative and express yourself in a way that will inspire students and faculty to overcome the challenges they may experience in their lives. Prizes will be given to entries deemed most creative and impactful. This event will be co-sponsored by the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion.
