@MaroonEdition: 'The Villages We Live In - Mothering in America and Around the World'

October 19, 2016
2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

About this event

In this session, we will discuss the ways in which societies around the world promote and inhibit "good mothering." We will discuss the aspects of American society that make child bearing and child rearing easier or more difficult for women; how men and women are treated differently as parents by society; how parental roles have changed over time; and what kind of policies could help mothers and families succeed. All are welcome, so please join us if you are able.
