About this event

The Maroon Volunteer Center at Mississippi State is inviting members of the campus and surrounding communities to participate in this mentor training event. Guest speakers and MVC staff will be on hand to provide valuable information for current and prospective mentors. Topics of discussion include "Why Youth Need Mentors," "Mentoring the Next Generation," "Roles and Types of Mentors," "Challenges of Mentoring" and "Impact Mentors Make." Dinner will be provided.
