The English Language Institute (ELI) provides high quality intensive English language instruction to international students, faculty and community members. Credit courses are available for both conditionally and fully admitted undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to language classes, the ELI offers its American Language and Culture Program, which is composed of short and long-term customized programs that bring international students to MSU for intensive English and American cultural studies. As part of its cross-cultural programming, the ELI also coordinates the Conversation Partner Program and the Conversation Connections Program to build a more globally aware campus.
