Fire Safety Training for MSU Employees

In recognition of Campus Fire Safety Month, Mississippi State University's Campus Emergency Response Team (CERT), Department of Human Resources Management, and Department of Environmental Health and Safety are encouraging participation in fire safety preparedness trainings. Topics that will be covered include simple fire safety prevention methods, first aid for victims of fire, and hands-on fire extinguisher training courtesy of the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security. Due to the nature of the training, we do not anticipate participants' clothes getting dirty, but we recommend closed-toed shoes be worn for safe entrance and exiting of the training trailer.
