'The Road to FLSA Compliance' - Open Session for MSU Employees

The Department of Human Resources Management at Mississippi State is offering training sessions relating to MSU's implementation of the federal Department of Labor's Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) final overtime rule. These sessions are designed to provide education for employees impacted by the new FLSA regulations. Topics of discussion include an overview of the FLSA; defining compensable time worked for non-exempt employees under the FLSA for travel, meetings and training, rest and meal periods, after hours work, etc.; and recordkeeping requirements under the FLSA.
