#ServiceatState: Make a Difference Day 2016

October 28, 2016
1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

About this event

Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others – a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. This year, Mississippi State's Maroon Volunteer Center and Volunteer Starkville will be sponsoring three service projects at the Palmer Home for Children in Columbus and two cemeteries in Starkville/Oktibbeha County - Odd Fellows Cemetery and Rock Hill Community Cemetery. Volunteers are needed to help with beautification efforts at all sites, including such tasks as raking leaves, picking up trash and sticks, trimming hedges and cleaning out gutters. Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #ServiceatState on social media. Click the "Link" below for more information.
