@MaroonResearch Seminar: Laboratory Chemical Security

April 24, 2017
1:30 pm to 3:00 pm

About this event

While a necessity for academic and research purposes, laboratories provide a source of chemicals that can be used to produce improvised explosives (IEDs) and other weapons of mass destruction (WMD). Local, state and federal agencies are focused on increasing awareness regarding the potential nefarious use of these chemicals and the actions that faculty, staff and students can take to identify and report suspicious behavior. This session will be presented by staff from Mississippi State University's Office of Environmental Health and Safety, as well as FBI Agent Brian Otters. Responsible Conduct of Research credit will be given for attendance. Click the "Link" below to register for this free workshop.
