Staff Council at Mississippi State is sponsoring a panel discussion that will address workplace issues. Topics of discussion include diffusing hostility and conflict, building relationships and working as a team. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear first-hand from a panel of professionals and administrators on how to respond to and manages these types of situations. Panelists include Jeremy Baham, MSU assistant vice president of student affairs; Hart Bailey, professor and university ombudsman; Anne Cooke, assistant director of financial services for the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station; Ra'Sheda Forbes, interim assistant vice president of multicultural affairs and director of the Holmes Cultural Diversity Center; and Sandra Williamson, executive director of research fiscal affairs. There will be a networking reception following the panel discussion. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required, but participants are asked to sign in upon arrival.
