Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) Jump Start Workshop

Jumpstart your journey to earning your Accreditation in Public Relations! If you are actively pursuing your APR or want to learn more about what it takes, this workshop is for you! John E. Forde, APR, Fellow PRSA, professor and head of Mississippi State's Department of Communication, is leading this half-day workshop that will prepare participants to successfully complete the APR process. Participants should arrive by 7:45 a.m. A light breakfast will be served. The workshop will include a brief overview of the APR steps; topics and knowledge/skills/abilities you will be tested on; insights from a panel including Checky Herrington, APR, Fellow PRSA, and Macaulay Whitaker, APR, and more! Early bird registration is $70 and must be completed by July 7. Regular registration is $85. Registration also includes admission to the Southern Public Relations Federation Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon on July 21 at MSU's Mitchell Memorial Library.
