Join Coach Dan Mullen and his Mississippi State Bulldogs as they kick off another exciting season of Hail State Football! In their season home opener, the Bulldogs are taking on the Charleston Southern University Buccaneers at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. Fans are encouraged to wear white for this "whiteout" game. The C Spire Fan Zone will open at 11 a.m. in the Junction, followed by the Dawg Walk at 1 p.m. The MSU Alumni Association's tailgate tent in front of the Leo Seal M-Club Building in the Junction will be open from noon-2:15 p.m. All Bulldog fans are encouraged to stop by and enjoy complimentary food, drinks and music. Face painting, pompoms and stickers also be available. There will be a WWII plane flyover during the playing of the National Anthem. In addition to a cowbell giveaway, a halftime contest will take place with one lucky MSU student having the chance to win free tuition. The Famous Maroon Band and MSU spirit squads will perform. Hail State Rewards participants (hailstate.fanmaker.com) and Bully's Kids Club members (bullyskidsclub.com) will receive 100 points for attendance. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
